Golden Globes 2012 (Best dressed of the night!)

The Golden Globes 2012 happened this past Sunday and as usual, it was a very glamorous event! This year the Red Carpet was filled with beautiful ladies and gorgeous men! All Hollywood stars were there and the majority of them looked great! I selected some pictures of the stars that I thought were the best dressed of the night! Check it out!

Ok, so my absolute favorite of the night was Kim Kardashian! She looks soo elegant.. almost as if she is from another time, another decade. I like how her hair matches her outfit so well.. again with the classic, elegant, but still timeless style.
As always, black is a very safe choice, and this time, Kim Kardashian REALLY proved why black is always black!! I wouldn't say this could be considered our common "little black dress", but she definitely rocked her outfit! A+!!
The beautiful details of this dress are so many that I don't even know where to start with.. Laced dress with some sparkle throughout all the gown.. I love the top part of the dress, with the little laced sleeves.
This gorgeous masterpiece is by Bruce Oldfield, complemented with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
And when it comes to makeup, Kim nailed it (as usual). Natural color on her cheeks, bright lipstick on her lips (her earings match perfectly the color of her lipstick) and gorgeous eye makep (again, as usual!)

My second choice for beauty of the night is Mila Kunis in a gorgeous black dress (again.. most definitely NOT a normal LBD!)
Beautiful dress by Dior, with a cute, flowy fabric. Her makeup and jewels (by Cartier) were kept simple, but still very elegant! I love the strap that goes over her shoulder.. gives the dress that "it" factor, don't you think?!

Kate Beckinsale wore that night a very pretty dress by Roberto Cavalli with sequin details. Even though she has fair skin, the dress color complemented her actual color very well! The jewels she wore were almost the very same color as her dress and in my opinion that complemented her dress in a very positive way!

Jessica alba was wearing a Gucci dress and that kind of violet/nude color complemented her always bronzed skin very well. She kept her makeup and jewels simple, but yet, very beautiful.
Her hair was up, which made her look more elegant, but with this strapless dress, I think that her hair down would have looked gorgeous as well!

Couple of the night, of course: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt! Everybody always talks about them on the red carpets, how they both always look gorgeous, etc. This time, I actually agree! Angelina Jolie was flawless in a white Atelier Versace dress. Brad Pitt himself is already a more than perfect accessory (probably her best!) but that red clutch, together with her red lipstick and red detailing on her dress just made her look perfect! It's not easy to match so many things on one look, but Angelina did it in a very sutil way, and so it wasn't exagerated.
Not only her dress but what made Angelina look flawless at the Golden Globes was actually herself! Yes, Angelina Jolie wore that dress very well! She owned that dress! Her posture, the way she walks on the red carpet, her cofidence, everything combined and made her look the way she did! Congratulations to her!
Let us all agree, they look very well together!!!!

Now, question of the night: Lea Michele.. yay or nay?!?!
I personally think she looked really pretty!
She was wearing a metalic Marchesa dress. I absolutely adore Marchesa and I think that Marchesa dresses are gorgeous!!
The pop of color on this look rested on her green Lorraine Schwartz ring, which was a great adition to the outfit!
The dress, the style, the way she was wearing her hair up, it all made her look older than she really is! The dress is beautiful, she looks great, but I honestly think she should dress up more "age appropriate".
